The results of the Open Championship of the Republic of Belarus in bullet shooting were summed up in Minsk.
The competitions were held from 24 to 29 June 2024 on the basis of the sports and shooting complex named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.K.Timoshenko. The national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan competed with the Belarusian shooters.
In the Belarusian final of the PP-mix exercise, Alexandra Petrova and Vladislav Demesh took gold, Daria Akhmedova and Andrei Kazak took silver, Nadezhda Leonovets and Nikolai Yakuta took bronze. Irina Yunusmetova and Nikita Chiryukin (Republic of Kazakhstan) celebrated the victory in the international final of the same exercise, Belarusian Alina Nesterovich and Artyom Anisov from Russia won silver, and Alexandra Petrova and Vladislav Demesh won bronze.
The VP-6 women’s exercise ended with gold for Nicole Kurylenok, silver for Taisiya Palyushik, and bronze for Maria Martynova. In the international final, Alexandra Le won a gold medal, Elizaveta Tsydik won a silver medal, and Taisiya Palyushik won a bronze medal.
The team competition was the most successful for Minsk – the first place, the second place was taken by the team of the Brest region, the third – by the Gomel region.
Ilya Chergeyko had no equal among men in the VP-6 exercise, Vladimir Chernov won silver, and Vitaly Bubnovich won bronze. In the international final, Islam Satpayev from Kazakhstan rose to the highest step of the podium, Konstantin Malinovsky was on the second line, Ilya Chergeyko was on the third.
The athletes took the team gold to the Grodno region, the silver went to the Brest region, the bronze medals remained with the athletes of Minsk.
In the PP-3 exercise among women, the top three were Nadezhda Leonovets (1st place), Zoya Dasko (2nd place), Alexandra Petrova (3rd place). In the international final, Lyubov Yaskevich rose to the highest step of the podium, Alexandra Petrova took second place. Zoya Dasko is in third place.
The team competition became gold for the Grodno region, silver for the Brest region, and bronze for the Minsk region.
Andrey Kazak took the leading position in the PP-3 men’s exercise, Vladislav Demesh took the second place, and Nikolai Yakuta took the third. Vladislav Demesh showed the best result in the international final, Andrey Kazak took silver, Valery Rakhimzhan took bronze to Kazakhstan.
The athletes from the Brest region had no equal in the team championship, the athletes of the Grodno region became the second, the shooters of Minsk became the third.
The Belarusian final of the VP-mix exercise became gold for Vladislav Pronko and Vladimir Chernov, Taisiya Palyushik and Jan Chigileichik won silver, Daria Chupris and Arseniy Livantsov took bronze. The international finals of the same discipline ended with a gold medal for Vladislav Pronko and Vladimir Chernov, silver for Taisiya Palyushik and Jan Chigileychik, bronze for representatives of Kazakhstan Elizaveta Bezrukova and Nikita Shakhtorin.
In the MP-5 women’s exercise (Belarusian final), Alina Nesterovich was the first, Nadezhda Leonovets was on the second line, Zoya Dasko was the third. Alina Nesterovich also took the leading position in the international final, Alexandra Petrova took the second place, and Nadezhda Leonovets took the third.
In the team competition, athletes from the Brest region earned gold medals, silver was won by girls from the Grodno region, bronze medals went to the girls of Minsk.
Ilya Chergeyko won gold in the MV-5 exercise, Yuri Shcherbatsevich won silver, and Alexander Kachevsky took bronze. In the international final, Belarusian Yuri Shcherbatsevich took the highest step of the podium, Konstantin Mlinovsky took the second place, and Islam Satpayev took the third place.
In the team championship, the Grodno region became the first, the Brest region took the second position, and athletes from the Vitebsk region became the third.
Among women, the MV-5 exercise ended with a gold medal for Vladislav Pronko, Taisiya Palyushik took the silver, and Nicole Kurylenok got the bronze. Maria Martynova was the first in the international final, Elizaveta Tsydik was the second, and Taisiya Palyushik was the third.
In the team championship, the girls from the Brest region became the champion, the girls from Minsk took the second place and the representatives of the Grodno region took the third place.
The competition ended with the MP-8 men’s exercise. Ilya Dasko took the 1st place in the Belarusian final, Yevgeny Matusevich became the 2nd, Pavel Muravyov took the 3rd place. In the international start, the gold was taken by the representative of Kazakhstan Nikita Chiryukin, silver by Artemy Kabakov.
In the team competition, the championship title went to the athletes of the Brest region, the second place went to the representatives of Minsk, the third place was taken by athletes from the Grodno region.
The closing took place within the walls of Marshal Tymoshenko’s shooting range at Independence 195. The winners and prize-winners were awarded in a solemn atmosphere, Chairman of the Shooting Sports Federation Sergey Grigoryevich Dudko presented gifts to the Shooting Sports Federation of Kazakhstan and officially closed the competition.
