The opening of the main republican start of the season took place in Minsk. Athletes from all over the Republic, as well as the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gathered at the sports and shooting complex named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.K.Timoshenko to determine the best in air rifle shooting.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Andreychik, Chairman of the Belarusian Shooting Sports Federation Sergey Dudko, Director of the RCOP for shooting sports Vladislav Vladimirovich Stepanyuk, head coach of the national shooting team Victoria Vladimirovna Puleva Chaika, Deputy Chairman of the state institution “Sports Committee of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus” for ideological work Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Ivanovich Pasternak.
Also, the participants of the competition were awarded the coveted certificates “Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus” and “Master of Sports of international class” in a solemn atmosphere.
The sports competitions will be held until June 29th inclusive.
